The Napa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is requesting bids from licensed General contractors for the following Project: site preparation and hauling, and placement of dredging spoils at a site where they will be offloaded by a contractor working for the US Army Corps of Engineers. The majority of the dredge spoils will be off-hauled to the South Jefferson site for placement. However, some will be placed at the South Coombs site per the grading shown in the design plans. The contractor will be held to a high standard in regard to street tracking and airborne dust due to nearby sensitive receptors. Pursuant to Labor Code sections 1770, et. seq., the successful Bidder shall pay not less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations. Copies of such prevailing rate of per diem wages are on file at the Napa County Department of Public Works where copies will be made available to any interested party on request. T The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a Labor and Material Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price with good and sufficient surety. Each bidder must be licensed as required by law. A Class A - General contractor's license is required for this project.
