Site work for a water / sewer project in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project will encompass but not be limited to the following scope of work: 1. (36) 3/4 " Water service line installation from newly installed curb valve to interior foundation, installation provided by trench and or underground mole, Core Drill through basement wall and install a plastic wall sleeve, backflow preventer, pressure regulator, shut off valve, connection to existing water service inside the home, and expansion tank. 2. File necessary plumbing permits and procure required inspection with Allegheny County Health Department. 3. Water meter to be set and installed by Plum Borough Municipal Authority 4. Backfill the trench to grade only - no landscape repairs. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the total amount bid, made payable to Plum Borough Municipal Authority. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. No Bidder may withdraw his proposal within 120 days after the actual date of the opening of the proposals. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.
