Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Zion, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
As soon as possible thereafter, the Board of Park Commissioners may make an award of contract to the best and lowest bidder for the supply and installation of a new HVAC RTU for the Hermon Center Zion Park District Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid most advantageous to Zion Park District. This scope of work includes all permits to be provided by the Zion Park District. The Zion Park District is tax exempt and therefore no sales tax should be applied. Hermon Center - Gym RTU The RTU is operational, but is in poor operational condition. Contractor to supply the necessary tools, equipment, labor and materials to remove the existing Gym RTU related components, as described below for the Hermon Center location. Furnish all labor and materials to replace the existing Gym RTU with heating/cooling unit, as follows: 1. Isolate existing Rupp MUA and lock-out. 2. Disconnect unit and remove completely from jobsite. 3. Remove existing roof support rails, disconnect return ducting in Gym ceiling, frame out new return opening with support steel, as required. 4. Install new 24" high insulated curb, patch existing return roof penetration and roof in new curb. 5. Furnish and install new insulated return transition on roof, as required. 6. Furnish new return ducting in Gym to reconnect to existing return drop. 7. Furnish and install new Carrier heating and cooling RTU unit. a. 15 Ton two (2) stage cooling R-410A. b. Low leak temperature economize/barometric relief. c. Return air smoke detector and CO2 detector. d. Aluminum/copper condenser and evaporator coils. e. System Vu controller. f. Power convenience outlet. g. Vertical power exhaust. h. Two (2) stage heat capacity. 1. 350 MBH 2 stages high capacity. 2. Stainless-steel heat exchanger. i. Dir Drive-EcoBlue high static fan. j. Non-fused disconnect. k. 208/230/3/60 100 Amps. 8. Modify existing power from main panel to RTU for 208/230/3/60 fused 100MCA. 9. Modify necessary main gas piping and condensate drain on roof. 10. Start-up system and check for proper operation. 11. Provide all start-up reports, close-out manuals, operation, and maintenance manuals. 12. Contractor will supply a 1-year warranty on labor and materials, 5-year compressor warranty, and a 15- year SS heat exchanger warranty, to be included and will be issued and exchanged upon receipt of final payment from owner.
