The Town intends to re-solicit this solicition soon with a NEW RFB number.** The Project generally consists of: F&I erosion and sediment control measures Demolition and disposal of asphalt and concrete pavement, block walls, and concrete floor slabs as well as clearing and grubbing of vegetation Mass grading of approximately 5.00 acres F&I 5,758 SY of asphalt parking lot and cul-de-sac, 533 SY of concrete boat ramp Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. The bidder shall give notice in writing of his claim of right to withdraw his bid within two business days after the conclusion of the bid opening procedure and shall submit original work papers with such notice. Upon Issuing Offices receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidders delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidders date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial funding for this project is being provided by the Recreational Trails Program (RTP) of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) administered in Virginia by the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) and must be undertaken in accordance with the Recreational Trails Program guidance of the FHWA and with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 2, 23 and 49.
