Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Windsor, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

As of August 04, 2022, project has not been awarded yet. Project is anticipated to be awarded sometime adter August 17th. General Work Description: The work consists of improvements at three separate locations. At the CSA Pump Station, the work consists of: demolition and replacement of concrete, replacement of two below grade valves and two vertical turbine pumps, replacement of aboveground piping, valves and appurtenances, installation of two magnetic flow meters, control shelter improvements, and installation of electrical controls and telemetry equipment. At the Pond 8 Site, the work consists of: undergrounding an above ground recycled water line, installation of a pressure sustaining valve, and completion of associated aboveground piping, valves, and appurtenances. At the Conde Lane site, the work consists of: traffic control, completing a recycled water main tie-in with an associated lateral, installation of a manhole outside of the traffic right of way with an aboveground enclosure/structure, and tie into an existing sewer manhole. The General Contractor shall possess a State of California Class "A" contractor's license at the time bids are received by the Town and throughout the execution of the contract. The Contractor or subContractor performing electrical work for the control panel and telemetry equipment at the CSA Station shall possess a State of California Class "C-10" contractor's license at the time bids are received by the Town and throughout the execution of the contract. Bids are required for the entire work described herein. This contract is subject to State contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements pursuant to Government Code, Section 12990. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check payable to the Town of Windsor or a satisfactory bidder's bond in favor of the Town of Windsor executed by the bidder as principal, and a satisfactory surety company, licensed as such in the State of California, as surety, in an amount not less than 10% of the maximum amount of the bid. The check or bidder's bond shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder shall execute the contract, if awarded to him, in conformity with the contract documents and shall provide the statutory faithful performance bond, and labor and materials (payment) bond for 100% of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of said contract, said bonds to be provided within ten (10) days, not including Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays, after notification of the award of the contract to the bidder. The Windsor Town Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to determine which proposal is the lowest bid of a responsible bidder. The Windsor Town Council also reserves the right to waive any nonconformity not material to the cost of performance in the said proposals or bids.
