Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in South Hill, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The principal work to be performed under this contract consists of, but not limited to improvement of the following: Furnish and installation of a precast concrete booster station building including piping, valves, pumps with skid, electrical, and controls. Furnish and install yard piping, vaults, valves, etc. Site work shall include rough and fine grading, erosion control, installation of a paved access road, seeding and restoration. A performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Evidence of proper registration with the Virginia State Registration Board of Contractors, pursuant to Chapter 7 of Title 54 of the Code of Virginia, must be submitted with each bid.
