However contractor bidding is not expected to take place for several years. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference The City of Ketchum (City) seeks proposals from qualified design firm licensed in the State of Idaho to develop a multi-modal concept plan for the pedestrian and bicycle improvements in the downtown Community Core. The primary goals include; develop a multimodal concept plan that can guide the development of a cohesive and low stress facility, evaluate options for the separation of multimodal facilities from motor vehicle traffic, create typical cross sections, identify the relationship of the concept plan with other modes of travel, develop an implementation and maintenance strategy, and identify funding opportunities and wayfinding/branding strategies. This document will be used for program specific construction projects and may be used to guide design standards for future development along the corridor. The proposed project consists of all site development including installation of curb, gutter, sidewalk, asphalt patching; ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps, retaining walls, site lighting, storm drainage and other appurtenances in Ketchum, Idaho. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or any part thereof, to waive any formalities or informalities and further, to award the services to the most responsive and responsible Consultant, according to the Citys evaluation and as deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The City may opt to conduct interviews at its own discretion following the proposal deadline. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
