As of July 27, 2022, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid. Scope of Work: Carteret County Government is seeking bids to insulate the second story attic space with open cell spray foam insulation at the Department of Social Services located at 210 Craven Street, Beaufort, NC 28516. Details are as follows: o The Contractor shall insulate the entire second story attic space. o The Contractor shall ensure that area is clean without any debris and residue while preforming this project. o A site visit must be scheduled with the POC below prior to bid submission. o Schedule shall take place after normal business hours. o Any damages associated with this particular project shall be the Contractor's responsibility to fix or replace at the County's discretion. o The Contractor shall obtain the required permits, if required, give all notices, and comply with all laws, ordinances, codes, rules and regulations bearing on the conduct of the work. No time extensions shall be granted or financial consideration given to the Contractor for time or monies lost due to violations of any such ordinance, code, law or regulations that may occur Contractors must be able to provide current Certificates of Insurance for public liability, property damage, and Workers' Compensation. Quotes/bids/proposals will not be accepted after the due date assigned. All contractual terms and conditions will be subject to review by Carteret County and will include scope, schedule, and other necessary items pertaining to the project.
