Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Evanston, Illinois. Working plans call for the construction of a 110,000-square-foot, four-story above grade educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and 100-space educational facility.
Plans call for the construction of a new facility with the following elements: -110,000 square feet new K-8 school on site -Designed with the capacity of 800 students -Building around an existing sports field -Parking for 100 vehicles -Three 4-story classroom wings -Program will include two gyms and locker rooms, cafeteria with specialty classrooms including music, art and technology As of May 16, 2023, a construction manager has been selected. The project is in design phase. Subcontract trade bidding opportunities are not anticipated before late fourth quarter 2023. A firm timeline for construction start has not been announced, but is anticipated first quarter 2024.
