All materials and equipment must meet the specifications of the Ohio Department of Transportation and shall include all necessary barricades, signs, lights, watchmen, etc., and work performed shall be under the supervision of the Wayne County Engineer s Office. ONLY ODOT PREQUALIFIED CONTRACTORS ARE ELIGIBLE TO SUBMIT BIDS FOR THIS PROJECT. All questions must be submitted in writing, via email, to the individual named above. Bidders are responsible for ensuring that all emails are sent and received. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided in the Invitation to Bid, all blanks of which must be accurately and appropriately completed. Bidders shall submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of their Bid Proposal in a sealed envelope that is clearly marked: BID FOR Honeytown Rd. Bridge: Design-Build Project. The outside of the sealed envelope shall also include the name and address of the bidder. If a bid proposal is submitted by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid proposal must be enclosed in an outer envelope addressed to the Board and designated as a bid for the project. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, bidders are asked to send a maximum of one (1) representative per bidder to the bid opening. The bid opening will also be available via Zoom. All bids must include a Bid Guaranty, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing wage rates apply to this project. The Board maintains a website. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all irregularities and/or defects, and to accept the bid(s) deemed most beneficial to Wayne County. No bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the bid opening.
