Renovation of a military facility in Rock Island, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 15,000-square-foot, three-story above grade military facility.

The United States Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) request proposals for the Repair Quarters One - Building 301 on the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island IL All w ork is to be done in accordance w ith (IAW) the Scope of Work for Project 2022-0573, attached specifications and draw ings. See DFARS 252.236-7001. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued as a total 100% Small Business Set Aside. IAW FAR 36.204 the magnitude of this project is betw een $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. Please see Solicitation Narrative for further requirements. Contractor questions regarding solicitation and work contained in the SOW are due to the solicitation POC no later than 3:00 PM CST on August 4, 2022 in order to ensure that all question can be answered and posted for all Offeror's knowledge prior to solicitation closing. All questions should be directed in writing to Julie Culliton by email, julie.k.culliton.civ@army.mil and David Weindruch, david.m.weindruch.civ@army.mil, providing the SOLICITATION number W52P1J22R5010 in the subject line. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The scope of this project is to retain and repair the exterior envelope of Building 301, while preserving the historic features of the building. The building is located on Gillespie St., Rock Island Arsenal. It is a 3-story building, originally constructed in 1872 and is approximately 15,000 GSF. It is currently utilized by MWR and is designated a National Historic Landmark. The work is required for the project due to the level of deterioration on the envelope, which has led to its poor condition. The expectation is to upgrade the building envelope to sustain itself for the next 10-15 years. It is important to consider the inspection of roof structural members at the exterior porch and all construction work that requires the removal of adjacent material for construction shall be reinstalled to original condition.
