Laframboise, Saint-Hyacinthe (Québec). École René-Saint-Pierre is a specialized elementary and secondary school dedicated exclusively to clients with special needs. It offers specific services to students who live with a disability or with a behavioural adjustment difficulty. The school is made up of three pavilions that serve different clienteles Moreau Pavilion: disabled clientele with moderate to severe impairment and associated disorders Raymond-Gagnon Pavilion: Clients with Behavioural Adjustment Difficulties Centre jeunesse de la Montérégie: clientele between 0 and 18 years old in difficulty The redevelopment project is located in the Moreau Pavilion, which more specifically welcomes students with multiple disabilities, behavioural disorders or autism spectrum disorders. These clienteles are particularly sensitive to their environment and loud or unexpected noises are a great source of stress. Awareness of the situation and special attention must be put forward for the well-being of students during cohabitation.
