A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of Upper Dublin Township, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount shall be submitted with each Bid. Prior to awarding the contract, bids may be held by the Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid openings for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders. Upper Dublin Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding when, in the opinion of the Township, such rejections or waivers shall be to its interest or advantage.
