The purpose of this Agreement is to set forth the terms and conditions under which Contractor is to provide trash services. Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) all labor, trash and recycle bins, equipment, and incidentals, and to pay all associated costs, fees, and taxes, necessary to provide trash and recycling collection, hauling, and disposal services at Caltrans District 10 offices located at: A) 976 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Stockton CA 95205 B) 3256 Tomahawk Drive, Stockton, CA 95205. Contractor shall furnish the following: trash pick-up, transport, and disposal services per location: 1) Two (2) five (5) - cubic yard (CY) bins for general trash and debris (location A: 1976 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Stockton CA 95205). 2) Two (2) four (4) - cubic yard (CY) bins for recycle materials (location A). 3) One (1) Ninety-five-gallon bin for organic materials (location A). 4) One (1) Ten (10) - cubic yard (CY) roll-off bin for recycling (location A). 5) One (1) 20-cubic yard bin for general trash and debris (location A). 6) One (1) 10-cubic yard (CY) roll-off bin for recycling (location B: 3256 Tomahawk Drive, Stockton, CA 95205). As required by Executive Order S-02-06, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is committed to meeting the State's 25 percent (25%) Small Business (SB) participation goal. Certified SBs, Micro Businesses (MB), and contractors are encouraged to submit bids. A Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) goal is not required, but DVBE participation is encouraged, and a DVBE incentive may apply to this IFB. The designated contact person for this IFB is: Shawn Fitzpatrick California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Email address: shawn.fitzpatrick@dot.ca.gov Phone: (279)-234-2489 This Agreement will commence on September 01, 2022, or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement shall expire August 31, 2025. Except in emergencies, the services shall be provided during normal working hours, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays. On occasion, Contractor may be required to provide services outside of normal business hours, including on weekends and holidays, to complete emergency services, as determined in the sole discretion of Caltrans Contract Manager. The parties may amend this Agreement as permitted by law.
