As of December 29, 2022, construction commenced on September 1, 2022 and is expected to be completed by the end of March, 2023. West Crescent Fire District intends to construct an addition and renovations to their facility at 1440 Crescent Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065 and is seeking separate sealed bids for General Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection. This is a public work project, prevailing wage rate where coordination of the schedule will be the responsibility of the General Contractor (GC). Each sealed enclosure containing a bid is to be endorsed on the outside with the name, address and telephone number of the bidder and is to state that it contains a bid for the West Crescent Fire District - Addition & Renovations including the specific contract being bid. Bid security in the form of a 5% bid bond issued by an acceptable surety or bank or certified check payable to the West Crescent Fire District is required. Bids must be in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and other bid documents for the project and must remain valid for forty-five (45) days. All bid addenda will be transmitted to Bidders via email and will be available electronically. Bidders who have paid for hard copies of the bid documents will need to make the determination if hard copies of the addenda are required for their use and coordinate directly with the printer for hard copies of addenda to be issued. There will be no charge for Bidders to obtain hard copies of the bid addenda.
