Reference Number 0000230396 Source ID PU.DP.Que..8088.29965.C334327 Purchase Type One Time Only- Delivery Date:Mar 13, 2023 Bid Intent Not Available Question Acceptance Deadline Aug 23, 2022 02:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No This is a study project to assess the general condition of the ventilation systems and ducts as well as the accumulation of dust present for the entire Guy-Favreau Complex (Basilaire and Tours). The inspection must include the 3 basement levels as well as all floors of the two towers. To meet the deadline, complete the inspections and the report before the end of March 2023. Two or more teams will have to work simultaneously on the two towers. There are about twenty fresh air intake systems located in the basements and 1200 heat pumps on the upper floors. This involves inspecting 100% of the main ducts and 15% of the secondary and tertiary ducts. The plans you will find in the appendix are presented for information purposes only and may differ from the existing situation. This study will be the point of reference for the upcoming project for the cleaning of ventilation ducts GOC2553199 on which interested bidders can submit a bid (in the future or later) since it is a public tender. . The ventilation contractor must hold the NADCA ASCS certification as well as the CVI certification. He will be mandated to carry out a visual inspection and an inspection by motorized and remote-controlled camera with photos of the ventilation ducts in order to identify the state of cleanliness and/or unsanitary conditions of the systems and ducts. During the visual inspection, if the presence of mold is suspected, the contractor must notify the project manager. The ventilation units of each system and their components such as: main and secondary ducts, coils, supply and return fans, filters, humidification systems, doors, shutters, etc. will be inspected. The specialized contractor will perform all related work such as dismantling ceilings and reinstalling them, protecting and moving furniture, protecting floors or various equipment. In premises occupied by tenants, protection will be required to protect surfaces because the risk of particles being released into occupied spaces is high. Laboratories will require specialized cleaning. The contractor will provide a detailed schedule of inspections, participate in the management and coordination of requests for access to premises on the different floors. A final report describing the general condition of each system and its ducts inspected as well as the degree of cleanliness will be provided. The report will also mention the defects and the repairs to be carried out on each system if required. In addition, it will contain an estimate of the cleaning and balancing costs for each of the systems to be cleaned as well as a schedule. The specialized contractor will provide two USB keys containing a copy of the electronic report including photos and videos of the systems, components and ducts inspected. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.bgis.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
