Renovation of a mixed-use development in Monroe Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and theater / auditorium.

Performing Arts Center HVAC Replacement at the Monroe Township Middle School Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Schools Development Authority ("NJSDA") as stated in the Contract Documents, prior to the date bids are received. All bidders and their subcontractors shall be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. indicating compliance with the Act for work subject to the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.) Contractors are required to submit copies of their certificate of registration with their bid and shall also include copies of the certificates for each named subcontractor listed in its bid form with its bid. Any sub-subcontractors utilized by subcontractors will have to be registered. Sub-subcontractor certificates are not required to be submitted with the bids but must be submitted prior to the sub-subcontractor provides goods or services on this Project. The Bid must contain all required information and documentation, including, without limitation, Bid Security in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the Bid Price, not to exceed Twenty Thousand ($20,000.00) Dollars, and Consent of Surety, each in the form and manner required by the Contract Documents. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. No oral or other communications during the bidding process shall bind the Owner except as shall be contained in a written Addendum which the Owner may, in its sole discretion, issue in accordance with applicable Law. Bidders and their subcontractors are required to comply with all applicable New Jersey law, including, without limitation, the affirmative action requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27; the "Truth in Contracting" requirements of P.L. 1999, c. 440; the requirements of the "Public Works Contractor Registration Act," the business registration certificate requirements of P.L. 2004, c. 57; the requirements of the NJSDA, and other statutes and regulations, all as and to the extent applicable and whether or not said laws and requirements are specifically referenced in the Contract Documents. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to ensure timely receipt of its Bid by the Owner, at the place designated for opening of bids. The Owner assumes no responsibility whatsoever in connection with any defects arising out of the issuance of the Contract Documents or its failure to receive Bids at the time and place required and those which may arise from delay for any reason in obtaining the Contract Documents or in the submission of a Bid, including, but not limited to, delays or failures of receipt caused by traffic delay, errors by messengers, mis-labeling, mis-direction from any source including by the Owner's personnel, mis-delivery by common carrier, or any other reason. When it is in its best interest to do so and to the maximum extent of its discretion under applicable law, the Owner may award the Contract in whole or in part, select any combination of Bids and alternates, may waive any informalities, and may reject any or all Bids.
