Tank Cleaning Services The purpose of this notice is two-fold: 1. To announce Los Alamos National Laboratory's (LANL) intent to subcontract this requirement 2. To gain knowledge of potential sources for planning purposes. The intent of this notice is to identify qualified, prospective subcontractors and ensure they are registered in Ariba, the automated web-based procurement system that LANL has implemented. LANL has a requirement for cleaning and stabilizing two effluent tanks at the Lab. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562998 and the Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard is $14.5 million. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, and materials to perform all work necessary to decontaminate and stabilize the WM2-North/South Effluent Tanks located outside TA-50 Bldg-0002. The primary objective of stabilizing the WM2-North/South Effluent Tanks is to empty and isolate the units and render them as clean shells so that they will pose no threat to the environment (groundwater and air) until closure. The contractor shall implement requirements flowed down to them through the respective procurement Exhibits. This requirement will be advertised, sourced, and awarded through LANL's Ariba web-based procurement system.
