The City of Sacramento (City), Convention and Cultural Services Department is utilizing an RFP process for the selection of a design-build team to provide all equipment, material, labor, installation and delivery of a fully renovated and fully functional lighting and HVAC system to the second floor Ballroom B at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center (1400 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95814) and a fully renovated and fully functional lighting system in Exhibit Halls C and D as detailed in the bid documents. All City responses to questions received will be posted as an addendum The scope of work is to provide all equipment, material, labor, installation and delivery of a fully renovated and fully functional lighting and HVAC system to the second floor Ballroom B at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center (1400 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95814) and a fully renovated and fully functional lighting system in Exhibit Halls C and D. In both Ballroom B and Exhibit Halls C and D, the lights should tie into the new Lutron lighting system in place. The work includes, but is not limited to design, permitting, construction, commissioning and training. The selected Proposer will be required to provide physical assessment of existing conditions, provide detailed value engineering and construction cost estimates, constructability reviews, provide project phasing recommendations and develop project schedules.
