Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project included the overall reconstruction and widening of W 22nd St from College to Campus St as development continues in the area. Sidewalk will be extended on the North side of Campus St down to the box culvert. In addition, this project will construct sidewalk along the eastern side of Campus Street from W 20th Street south approximately 140 feet and from W 22nd Street north approximately 380 feet. Sidewalk will connect Sunnyside Addition to the University of Northern Iowa Campus. This project is included in the city’s fy 2025 Capital Improvement Program. As of February 3, 2025, further details regarding construction and completion timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
