Renovation of a medical facility in St Marys, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 12,955-square-foot, one-story above grade, one-story below grade medical facility.
General Contractors are invited to submit bids for the upcoming St. Marys Memorial Hospital (SMMH) Patient Wing Rebuild project. This project includes the complete interior fit-out of the St. Mary's Memorial Hospital Patient Wings (Level 1 East Wing, Level 1 West Wing, and Level 1 Central) of approximately 10,565 nsf and Basement Level directly below the Wings of approximately 2,390 nsf. The project is located in a fully functioning hospital and as such will require multiple phases to allow for continuous hospital functionality. Experience in healthcare projects of a similar size and scope will be required. SMMH will be vacating each patient wing to allow efficient constructability. The work will include, but not limited to; selective demolition, abatement, new flooring, new walls, structural reinforcement, painting, ceilings, doors, hardware, patient room headwalls, patient lifts in each room and wall protection. The scope also includes new HVAC units and duct work, new heating systems, plumbing fixtures, fire alarm upgrades, electrical panels and upgrade, new lighting, IT infrastructure, and RTLS system.
