This contract will provide for the supply and installation of ball and burlap trees along the Regional road right-of-ways and Regional owned properties. The supplemental watering of trees planted in the current year (2023) and previous two planting seasons (2022 and 2021) will also occur. Trees will be watered on a weekly basis throughout the growing season (14 times per year). Provisional items have been included in the contract and will occur only as necessary. The proposed work includes preparing the site for planting through activities such as clearing and grubbing at sites or hydrovac excavation to eliminate conflicts with utilities.
