Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Effingham, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of August 3, 2022, this project has been awarded to Effingham Asphalt in the total amount of $700,296.45. The project shall consist of Pavement Removal, Asphalt Milling and Removal, Sidewalk Removal, Concrete Driveway Pavement, Concrete Driveway Pavement, Concrete Curb and Gutter, and other miscellaneous items. Work on this project is subject to the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1- 12). Contractor shall not pay less than prevailing wages to all laborers, workman, and mechanics or any other trade performing work under this contract, arid shall comply with the requirements of the act stated above. Prevailing Wages, as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor and the current prevailing wages in effect at the time of the work, as established by the City of Effingham. The submission of monthly certified payrolls to the City of Effingham will be required. Work on this project is subject to the Illinois Substance Abuse Prevention on Public Works Project Act as enacted by PA. 95-0635.
