This posting is just for prequalifications, it is not for bids. Platte River seeks a contractor to reroute Platte River's 24" offsite water supply pipeline at the intersection of Larimer County Road 9 and County Road 70 (Owl Canyon Rd.). Larimer County is installing a box culvert and roundabout at the intersection. Roughly 1,400 to 1,500 feet of Platte River's 24" waterline must be rerouted to keep it from being in conflict with the box culvert and out from under the roundabout as much as possible. The contractor hired for the reroute will work closely with Platte River, Larimer County, and the contractors hired by Larimer County for the overall roadway project. It is imperative that all parties coordinate and work together at all times. Platte River will only consider Bid Proposals from bidders who submit their qualifications per the Platte River prequalification form requirements and are approved based on their submitted qualifications. Platte River will disseminate the bid specifications to prequalified bidders. Platte River will send responses to all received questions electronically to all prequalified bidders on or about Thursday, August 18, 2022. No Bid Proposal may be altered, withdrawn, or resubmitted within 90 days after the Proposal Submission Deadline. The successful bidder will be subject to the same equal employment opportunity regulations as Platte River. Platte River reserves the right, in its sole judgment, to accept the Bid Proposal(s) that is the most advantageous to Platte River and that represents the best overall value to Platte River, taking into consideration the price and other evaluation factors set forth in the bid specification, and to reject any Bid Proposals, and to accept or reject any portion in any Bid Proposal(s) that is submitted.
