Question End Date 8/2/2022 5:00 PM In accordance with the provisions of Section 287.055, Florida Statutes for Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), and 40USC11101-1104 (Brooks Act), the City of Palm Bay is accepting Qualification submittals from firms who desire to provide engineering and architectural design consulting for the development of prototype fire stations at locations Citywide. The purpose of the solicitation is to engage a firm to design and engineer several stations that are in the City's five-year capital plan and to use those stations to develop prototypes that can be used at other locations in the future as the City's population increases and fire service needs increase. Disciplines may include but are not limited to: Civil, Structural, MEP, Architectural, Geotechnical, Survey, Landscape Architecture. The selected firm shall enter into a multi-year Master Agreement with the City. Contract term will be two (2) year with eight (8) optional one-year renewal periods, for a total term not to exceed ten (10) years. The City may terminate the contract at any time for convenience, or lack of funding appropriation, as described in the draft contract, attached. Work will be on a Task Order basis. This is not a continuing contract, as defined by F.S. 287.055; rather, it is a project specific contract. As such, this contract may be used for projects which exceed the continuing contract threshold. The method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
