Site work, new construction and renovation of a water / sewer project in East Tawas, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Tawas Utilities Authority Wastewater Treatment Plant construction work. This Contract is funded with a State Revolving Fund (SRF) Loan. Bidders are required to complete the Certification Regarding Debarment, Suspension and other Responsibility Matters statement included in the Project Manual The Project is currently planned to include but is not limited to the following Work: Addition of two new mechanical bar screens Improvements to the odor control systems. Renovation to the existing primary clarifiers Renovation of oxidation ditches including replacement of mixing and aeration equipment. Rehabilitation of secondary clarifiers and replacement of sludge collection mechanisms. New RAS pumps. Reconfiguration of RAS and WAS piping. Installation of new drain pumps for the oxidations ditches. Replacement of the gas chlorination and dechlorination equipment. Modifications to the chlorine contact chamber Installation of a new effluent flow meter. Rehabilitation of the anaerobic digestion equipment. Construction of new bolted glass lined steel sludge storage tank. Construction of new a building addition for new screening equipment Construction of a new building for the odor control system. HVAC system upgrades New electrical distribution load centers and associated wiring. Instrumentation upgrades. Site work, and miscellaneous building improvements
