The work shall consist of striping double yellow centerlines and white edge lines on various county roadways, layout, traffic control, clean up and associated work. The Proposal must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. The bidder to whom a contract for work is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance, Maintenance and Payment Bond executed on the specified forms and acceptable to the County, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract. The bidder must supply all the information required by the proposal form and be INDOT prequalified in E(G) Traffic Control: Pavement Markings. Liquidated damages for delay will be as provided in the proposal. Partial payment will be made monthly based on an approved payment requisition. The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with required Federal and State labor regulations including Equal Employment Opportunity, Non-segregated Facilities, and Affirmative Action requirements. The Recipient, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d 4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally Assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award."
