Renovation of a municipal facility in Bellingham, Washington. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The scope of work for this project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the project identified above including the following major work items: Bid Schedule 1. Harbor Mall Re-Roof Key items include, but not limited to, the removal of existing roofing down to plywood and an asbestos containing silver coating, patching and repair of any dry rot, removal of several radio/communication towers/stands, and replacement of roof hatch, flashing, cants and curbs, and the installation of new roof membrane and ridged insulation on top of existing plywood roof sheathing as shown in the Drawings and described in the Bid Documents. Bid Schedule 2. Bellwether Bldg. Patio Water Intrusion Repairs Key items include, but not limited to, removal and reinstallation of existing rooftop pavers over the installation of a new membrane roof on top of existing concrete structural deck. This work includes repairs to existing roof drain system, removal and reinstallation of storefronts systems, doors, thresholds, and wall panels as shown in the Drawings and described in the Bid Documents. Bid Schedule 3. Bayview Center Building Utility Access Key items include, but not limited to, installation of a new exterior utility access door with pre-fabricated stairs in order to access utility rooms form outside. This work includes demolition, relocation and installation of new wall, electrical, and fire suppression system as shown in the Drawings and described in the Bid Documents. The work sites for Bid Schedules 1 and 3 are located within a secure area not open to the public. An opportunity to inspect the area at these facilities will be given at the Pre-Bid Meeting, and no other access to this area will be granted outside of this time prior to contract execution. The site for Bid Schedule 2 is generally open to the public, and prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect them at their own convenience provided their presence does not interrupt Port or tenant operations. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, money order, or an original signed and stamped surety bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to the Port of Bellingham. Any and all questions related to this project must be submitted via email prior to 5:00 PM, local time, on Friday, July, 15, 2022. No questions will be accepted after that time. To register your company on the Plan Holders list, please contact Brian Wilson, Contracts Administrator by email at brianw@portofbellingham.com. All bids submitted shall be considered as valid offers for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of the bid opening during which time the Port of Bellingham will make the award or return all bids. The Port of Bellingham reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. Any and all questions related to this project must be submitted via email prior to 5:00 PM, local time, on Friday, July, 15, 2022. No questions will be accepted after that time.
