Demolition and site work for a residential development in Dunn, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and services and perform and complete all work in an efficient professional manner essential to the demolition of the structures listed below. All buildings or other structures are to be entirely cleared from the property and the entire area cleared of all debris. The razing of structures and proper removal and legal disposal (pre-approved dump site) of all materials from the premises shall include but is not limited to the following: (A) All structures and their foundations, floors, and footings must be demolished and removed in their entirety. All chimneys, steps, foundations, sheds, porches, etc., which are attached to the buildings, are considered a part of the buildings and are to be demolished and removed. Any area or area where foundations are removed shall be backfilled with clean, select fill dirt, satisfactorily compacted and graded to promote proper water drainage. (B) All concrete/asphalt driveways, parking areas, sidewalks and patios will be removed and graded for proper drainage. Additionally, all designated trees, shrubs, underbrush, and fencing shall be removed and disposed of in a legal disposal site. For larger trees, plan accordingly for possible lane closure permits and any other obstacles related to large tree removal. The lot is to be graded to allow natural drainage, and the entire area shall be cleaned by hand-raking, graded, seeded with rye grass (or other type of grass if approved by the City), and covered with wheat straw. Sewer clean out capped. Closeout package showing completed demo permit for each property delivered to City Hall once complete.
