Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a medical facility in Coquille, Oregon. Working plans call for the addition of a 24,000-square-foot medical facility; for the demolition of a medical facility; for the renovation of a 6,000-square-foot, four-story above grade medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.

Coquille Valley Hospital District is requesting proposals for Project Management/ Owner's Representative services related to the design and construction of 24,000+/- sqft of additions on our hospital campus and renovation of 6000+/- sqft of interior hospital space. Proposal selection is qualification based and all proposals must meet the requirements detailed in the RFP. Selection will be based on proposer's experience, expertise, capabilities, approach, and overall cost. As of April 5, 2024, per owner a design team and general contractor, have been identified. The bidding for the project began in December 2023 with bids due in February 2024. The bids came back significantly over budget. They are currently working on Value Engineering cost out of the project to bring it back in line. They anticipate approximately a 3-month delay. They also have not yet finalized financing for the project. They are expecting to utilize USDA to finance this project and the approval process has been longer than expected. The new schedule has construction beginning in September 2024.
