For upgrading the water system at the Fort Simpson Airport in Fort Simpson, NT The Airport Water Treatment/Pumphouse Building is in Fort Simpson, Northwest Territories. The building is a single-story structure constructed in approximately 1991 providing about 40 square meters of floor area. The water system at the Ft. Simpson Airport terminal building and the maintaince garage needs upgrades and repairs to the system. The water distribution system has one HDPE 1.5” supply and return line to each building. The underground return water supply lines to each building have failed. The scope of work will be to excavate and locate the water mains, replace the piping in place and put the system back into service as originally designed. A temporary water system is currently serving the Ft. Simpson air terminal building. This temporary water system is to be removed and system components turned over to the department of Infrastructure. Cancelled.
