Renovation of a stadium in Annapolis, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
The work includes a Base Bid and 3 Bid Options. Base Bid (see drawings for locations) scope includes: repointing masonry joints (100%), cleaning of the facade and horizontal faces of building overhangs (100%), re-seal 10% windows and door frames, refinish 30% windows, clean all windows, repairs to cornice and dentil molding, repair to cracks and chips in masonry, re-glazing of masonry (40%), flashing repair, scope and inspection of all internal downspouts (and cleaning as needed), replacement of falling terra cotta elements, repair to historic light fixtures (sconce), stain removal (on masonry), re-leveling of stairs where needed, balustrade repair, re-painting of hand rails, scope and cleaning of existing drawinways at breezeways, and incidental related work; Bid Option 1 (see drawings) scope includes work associated with the clock tower: repoint mortar joints (100%), cleaning of facade and building overhangs (100%), remove staining (100%), reseal windows (10%), refinish windows (30%), cleaning of all windows, repair of cracks and chips in masonry, re-glaze 40% of masonry, repair flashing, repair balustrade, and incidental related work; Bid Option 2 includes replacement of damaged slate shingles on Mahan Hall (10%); Bid Option 3 (see drawings for locations) includes: repoint mortar joints (50%), cleaning of facade and stain removal (100%), repair of masonry cracks/chips, repair of cast iron panels, and incidental related work. Mahan Hall was designed by architect Earnest Flagg and constructed in 1907.
