General work description: The work to be done includes, but is not limited to the following: saw cutting, demolition, concrete, minor asphalt paving, block work, landscaping, electrical, irrigation and other items not specified here, but required to complete the work as shown in the plan set. This meeting is to inform bidders of project requirements and subcontractors of subcontracting and material supply opportunities. Questions in writing will be accepted September 5 2023 at 5 PM. Inquiries or questions based on alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications or estimate must be communicated as a bidder inquiry prior to bid opening. Any such inquiries or questions, submitted after bid opening, will not be treated as a bid protest. Technical questions should be directed to Kameron Arnold at Kaarnold@CityofWasco.org. Each bid must be accompanied by one of the following forms of bidders security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid This work shall be diligently prosecuted to completion before the expiration of 120 WORKING DAYS beginning on the fifteenth calendar day after approval of the contract.
