The Work, Upgrades to two hydraulic elevators in the Duane Waters Health Center and upgrades to one hydraulic elevator in Unit C building(located a short distance from the Health Center building). Agency No. 472, DTMB File No.472/22151.TYC includes, but is not necessarily limited to: Upgrades to two 4 stop hydraulic elevators. Also, possible upgrade to one, two stop hole-less type hydraulic elevator in C Unit building. For all three elevators, possible replacement of all existing elevatorequipment, provide new cab interior finishes, possibly provide new oil interceptor and sump equipment and tie elevators into the existingbuilding fire alarm system as required. The site is located at 3857 Cooper Street, Jackson, Mi. 49201 Each Bid must enclose a duly executed Bid Security, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bidder's Base Bid, paid to the State of Michigan in the form of a certified or cashier's check or money order drawn upon a bank insured by an agency of the Federal Government, or a bid bond signed by both the Contractor and authorized surety company The Contractor represents and warrants that Contractor will post the scale of wages to be paid in a prominent and easily accessible place at the site of the work. The purpose of the pre-bid conference and inspection is to answer questions and provide an inspection tour of the Project site at the scheduled time on the day of the meeting. A representative will be available to assist the Contractors. Other inspection visits may be allowed if needed.
