Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Grand Manan, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
Proponents are invited to submit a tender to undertake the Runway Rehabilitation Project Phase 1 at the Grand Manan Airport. Tenders are to be submitted on supplied forms and will be received at the Village of Grand Manan Office (1021 NB-776, Grand Manan, NB, Canada) until 2:00 p.m. local time on July 22, 2022. Tenders can also be emailed to cao@villageofgrandmanan.com on or before the closing date. The work generally includes the rehabilitation of the existing runway, supply and placement of new granular material and asphalt, drainage improvements and the airfield improvements. The work is scheduled to begin in Summer 2022. Plans, specifications and tender forms may be obtained by prospective bidders via NB Online. Tender Documents can also be viewed at the Construction Association of New Brunswick - Saint John at https://www.canbsj.com, 263 Germain Street Saint John, NB E2L 2G7. A Bid Bond, Certified Cheque, or Irrevocable Letter of Credit in the amount of 10% of the tender amount and an Agreement to Bond must accompany each Tender. The successful Tenderer will be required to provide a 50% Performance Bond and a 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond upon execution of the Contract.
