Pre-Qualification for Bidders: Not Required License Type Required: A or C-21 Project Duration: 30 Work Days Liquidated Damages: $500.00 Per Work Day The Project generally consists of providing the necessary labor, equipment, and materials to completely demolish the Hill Top House structure, remove and haul away all debris, final grading, and all associated work in accordance with the project plans, standard specifications, special provisions, and as directed by the Director of Municipal Services. Work on the Project shall be completed within 30 working days based on the Caltrans 5 Day Working Day Calendar. The anticipated award date is August 9, 2022, and work must commence 10 days after the Notice of Award unless authorized by the Director of Municipal Services or his designee. The project is being paid for, in part, by funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Award of a contract is dependent upon HUD approval. SECTION 3 STATEMENT: This is a HUD Section 3 construction contract. Contractors and subcontractors must address the Section 3 employment work hours benchmarks for Section 3 Workers and Targeted Section 3 Workers as established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development at 24 CFR Part 75.
