Site work for a water / sewer project in Oak Grove, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Description of work: This project consists of the rehabilitation of existing sewer collection system manholes to reduce surface inflow and infiltration. Manhole rehabilitation will consist of installing a new neoprene gasket between the manhole lid and frame and by installing a new plastic insert into the vent hole of the manhole lid. Some manholes will require new lids and/ or frames. Some manholes will be required to be raised by adding concrete adjusting rings and/or grout beds. Some manholes will require a new vent pipe. On other sets of documents furnished to bidders, the deposit less the actual cost of reproduction, shall be refunded upon return of the documents no later than ten days after receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids received for just cause per State Public Bid Law.
