Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Hartford, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Hartford Public Safety Complex parking for employees vehicles, police vehicles and equipment has out grown the current space. It has been determined that a new parking structure to supplement the existing garage is not economically feasible, however using an existing parking lot nearby the HPSC would more beneficial at this time. Solution: After researching City owned parking areas within a mile of the HPSC, the parking lot at 50 Williams St which supports the PAL organization and Quirk Middle School would be an ideal location. The existing parking lot would require striping, lighting and security gates. The FY2023 Funds would be used to design and construct the improvements. This project is in included in the City's or County's FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of July 08, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
