Central time, july 12, 2022 A Performance Bond and Payment Bond may be required to be executed in the full amount of the Contract amount as guaranty that the scope of work will be performed and that the University and the State of Texas will be saved harmless from all cost and damages which the University and the State of Texas may suffer by reason of default or failure of the Respondent to perform the work. Performance Bonds are required for public works contracts that exceed $100,000 and Payment Bonds are required for public works contracts that exceed $25,000. Both are required for public works contracts that exceed the $100,000 threshold. University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, to waive informalities and technicalities, to accept the offer considered most advantageous, and/or to make the award to the most responsive vendor. Texas A&M University-Commerce is seeking to contract for the installation of 435 cable pulls connecting
offices, classrooms, wireless access points and IP cameras in the Young Education Northing building; the
average cable length is 175ft. This project will also require the installation and termination (LC) of a 24
strand 1000 ft. run of single mode fiber between the telephone switch room and the MDF for the Young
Education North building. All work management, materials, tools, including any ladders required to
complete this project as outlined in this SOW will be supplied by the contractor. Patch cords will be
needed on both Client and MDF side: 435 - 10ft cords for the client side and 435 - 15ft cords for the
MDF side; broken down by color In Accordance With (IAW) the counts listed in the cable count work
sheet. The MDF is located on the Basement floor in room B1. The MDF will require a new rack, vertical
managers, horizontal managers, and ladder racks. This project also includes the removal of any existing
data cabling in the building but does not include smoke alarms, fire alarms, and other safety systems.
Also please note that the sheetrock walls in this building are hot with asbestos so caution is needed when
making new penetrations. Following this statement are listed the standards which we require for any
