The City of Vallejo Public Works Department (City) is soliciting proposals from qualified service providers for elevator inspection and maintenance services in accordance with the Scope of Work described in the Proposal Documents and all applicable City, County, State laws and regulations pertaining to elevator services and inspection. The successful contractor will be required to provide appropriately equipped and trained maintenance personnel as well as requisite equipment in order to perform elevator maintenance and repair services and inspection of the highest quality. The City will select a contractor based on qualifications, experience, and ability to provide the required services at a fair and reasonable rate schedule Online Q&A No Written questions will be the only questions that receive an official response from the City. Written questions may be submitted: By E-mail to the Project Manager State of California who, under subcontract to the prime contractor, specially fabricates and installs a portion of the work orimprovement according to detailed drawings contained in the plans and specifications, in an amount in excess of one-half of 1 percent (0.5%)of the prime contractor's total proposal, or ten thousand ($10,000) whichever is greater, and the dollar amount of the work which will be done by each subcontractor under this act. The prime contractor shall list only one subcontractor for each portion as is defined by the prime contractor in his or her proposal The City of Vallejo reserves the right to reject all proposals. Costs for developing the proposal are entirely the responsibility of the proposer and shall not be reimbursed. Proposers are cautioned against incurring any additional cost in anticipation of award.
