Otsego County Planning & Solid Waste Department, 197 Main Street, Cooperstown, NY invites bids for multiple prime contracts for Site Contract Work, General Construction Contract Work, Electrical Contract Work, and Plumbing Contract Work to complete partially finished construction of (3) three Tiny Homes & a Community Building; complete partially finished site work; and alternates to construct one (1) to four (4) additional Tiny Homes. The project is located at the County Meadows Complex, 140 County Highway 33W, Cooperstown, NY 13326. A complete set of documents will be issued to each prospective Bidder. Bidders are required to use complete sets of Bidding Documents in preparing Bids. The Owner and Architect assume no responsibility for misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents Any qualified Bidder will be refunded their deposit in full upon returning their set to the Architect in good condition within thirty days after the award of the Contract. Any nonbidder returning their set will be refunded $50. Bidders may obtain more than one set and will be refunded the deposit in full for each additional set returned. Bid documents will also be available for download through the Dataflow website for a fee payable directly to Dataflow. The following goals have been established for this project: 1 ) MBE Utilization Goal of 18% 2) WBE Utilization Goal of 12% Bids shall be prepared as set forth in the "Instructions to Bidders enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing on its face the name and address of the Bidder, date and time bid is due, and the title Otsego County Tiny Homes Phase III Project - Otsego County. Each Bidder shall deposit with its Bid, security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the "Instructions to Bidders". No Bidder may withdraw its Bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The County of Otsego reserves the right to waive any informalities and irregularities in or reject any or all Bids.
