Description: The City of North Charleston intends to obtain grounds maintenance and repair services for the North Charleston Athletic Center. Work will include regular cutting of grassed areas, pruning of shrubs, ornamental grasses and trees, fertilization, chemical treatments, mulching, raking, cleaning, and irrigation system repairs. QUESTIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY: July 21, 2022, by 04:00 PM August 01, 2022 - June 30, 2023 The initial contract shall be for a period of one (1) year. Upon completion of the initial term of the Agreement, and again on each subsequent anniversary date, at a cost that is acceptable to the Owner and Contractor, the Agreement shall be automatically renewed for additional one-year periods unless either party shall give written notice to the other, at lease ninety (90) consecutive calendar days prior to the expiration of the initial term or any renewal thereof, that the Agreement shall not be so extended. This Agreement period shall not exceed a total of five (5) years The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids when such rejection is in the best interest of the Owner, to reject the Bid of a Bidder who has previously failed to perform properly, and to reject the Bid of a Bidder who is not, in the opinion of the City, in a position to perform the Contract. The owner also reserves the right to waive any informalities and technicalities.
