Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, DNR/E is requesting proposals from qualified vendors/contractors to perform the following services: Proposal must include plan to complete road construction according to the Natural Resource Conservation Service Minnesota construction and specification provided at the site visit. Work will include installation of 32 LN. FT 12 diameter culvert covered to 30 yards of class 5 gravel. Contractor will cut, fill and shape half a mile of designated route. Contractor will follow all Designated NRCS soil erosion methods. Contractor must comply with all state and local laws, ordinances, codes, and/or regulations applicable for the installation. Contractor is responsible for obtaining all permits needed for this project. All work must be completed by September 30th 2022. Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO) applies for this proposal (see Bidding note 2 below). Firms must be licensed with the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe. A copy of this license (or the license application) must accompany each bid. Licensing process can take several weeks.
