**As of September 8, 2022, no bids received. No definite date for the rebid. The Village of Oakwood invites Fixed Price bids for an engine generator to be located on the current Village Hall property at the southeast corner of 105 the building. The Village intends to pour concrete and provide a solid pad for the generator, and provide protection from vehicle traffic once installed. The exact location will be determined once concrete is in place. For the purposes of bidding to this RFB, consider the engine generator to be located 4' from the south wall and inset so the east edge of the base is aligned with the east wall of the building. Q:\F2413735 There are currently to AC condensing coils that are located on the east side of the building and there is a gas main located on the southeast corner. The engine generator can be moved east if there is a benefi t. However, the Village intends for the vehicle barriers protecting the generator to not be located any further east than the current AC condensers. The Village intends for the engine generator to be oriented lengthwise along the south side of the building, but will entertain recommendations to orient the generator north-south. Alternates will be accepted on products only. It is the responsibility of the bidder to provide a differential document that identifi es both alike and different criteria if an alternate product is submitted with the bid. The Village of Oakwood will not accept bids that include an alternate product(s) without the differential document attached. A bid bond of 10% or a certifi ed check representing 10% of the bid amount is required with the bid. If the winning bidder is unable to enter contract at the bid amount within 45 days of notice from the Village of Oakwood, the bond or check will be forfeit to the Village of Oakwood to be used in securing the second place bid up to the difference in bid amounts. The Village of Oakwood reserves the right to decline all bids. The winning bidder, if any, will be announced at the July 18th, 2022 Village Board Meeting.
