The Town of Essex is seeking Tenders from qualified Contractors for the supply and application of Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement for Goodchild Beach Road within the Town of Essex. The successful tenderer shall commence work on Jackson Street, south of Sullivan Street only after Labour Day (September 5th, 2022) to ensure that neighbouring parkland and boat ramp is not affected during the summer season. At least one lane of Jackson Street must always remain open during construction for residents access the boat ramp. The successful tenderer shall commence work on Jackson Street, south of Sullivan Street and Victoria Street, south of County Road 50 only after Labour Day (September 5th, 2022), so the Town's Public Works Department has the time to prepare the road for asphalt pavement.
