The Town of Woodbury is requesting quotations for the delivery of approximately 3,000 tons of sand for snow and ice control for the winter season 2022-23. Sand shall be brown in color. All deliveries shall be made to the Town of Woodbury Public Works Facility, 82 White Deer Rocks Road, Woodbury, Connecticut at the request of the Director of Public Works or his designee Purchase Order must be complete by December with completion of all material delivered by December 1, 2022. All material shall conform to the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation Reference File 182-H (attached). The successful bidder shall supply a representative sample (testing shall be done by Town) Material Safety Data Sheets prior to delivery as well as a current Certificate of Insurance. Questions may be directed to Richard Lamothe, Director of Public Works or his designee at 203- 263-3633. The Town may accept the bid which, in its sole discretion, it determines to be in Its own best interests or it may reject any or all bids. These bidding documents in no way establish the right of any bidder to the award of the contract. Successful bidder will be required to submit a current Certificate of Insurance.
