Site work for a municipal facility in Stockton, California. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
As of August 06th, 2022, project was awarded to Arktos, Inc., with an awarded amount of $638,582.00. Project is anticipated to start sometime in October. The Contractor will provide to the Department of Water Resources (DWR), Stockton-Weber Emergency Material Transfer Facility (EMTF) a new 8 perimeter fence, repair, and upgrade of the existing perimeter fence. Substantive questions regarding bidding and contracting requirements will be addressed at the pre-bid conference only. No questions with regards to requirements and provisions detailed in the Scope of Work will be addressed before or after the conference. - Bidder's Bond must be equal to 10% of the bid amount - Payment Bond must be equal to 100% of the contract amount; and - Surety must be registered with the CA Department of Insurance - Performance Bond must be equal to 100% of the contract amount; a. Establish participation goals, b. Provide a 5% small business calculation preference, and c. Provide the opportunity for bidders to receive a 5% non-small business calculation preference when achieving 25% small business participation through subcontracted efforts. Failure to fulfill the DVBE requirement will render your bid non-responsive and shall be cause for bid rejection.
