Site work and paving for a road / highway in Kingston, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of August 22, 2022, bids received were rejected. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. The Base Project consists of full depth replacement of approximately 2,200 sq yds of roadway. Alternate Bids will also be received for the full depth replacement of approximately 3,000 sq yards, and milling and resurfacing of up to approximately 400 sq yds of roadway, to be awarded at the Borough's discretion. The Project will by funded by the Multimodal Transportation Fund (MTF) through the PA DCED. The project is anticipated to require PA Prevailing Wage Rates. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract Bids shall be accepted online through the portal program. Additional bidding requirements are found in Section 00 21 13, "Instructions to Bidders", of the Bidding Documents. All bidders must submit bid security of a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142).
