Remodeling of a municipal facility in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for the remodel of a two-story above grade municipal facility.
The project located at the main DOT Main Complex, 800 Lincoln Way, Ames, IA includes remodeling of existing office space to remove and replace flooring, patch, repair and paint walls and columns, paint existing door frames, construct new wall and add HM door and frame. Work to be performed during regular work hours and days, M - F 7:00 - 4:30. Work to be completed on 1st floor by 8/31/2022, 2nd floor scope to be completed by 9/30/2022 It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Until the contract is awarded the sole point of contact for this project is Julie Randall (see bid contact information) any and all questions related to this project are to be submitted to Julie Randall through the IONwave Bid system.
