Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Town of Newbury is seeking written quotes to perform shared use path construction along approximately 350-feet of Parker Street. The Work includes, but is not limited to, hot mix asphalt shared use path construction; installation of granite curbing; mill and overlay of existing pavement; earthworks; hot mix asphalt paving; timber guardrail installation; wood rail fence installation; erosion control; installation of drainage structures and pipes; adjusting utility castings; fine grading; installation of structural soil; loaming and seeding; traffic management; and planning/coordinating with National Grid for electric infrastructure improvements. The Town shall only accept and open bids from prospective bidders that are prequalified in the appropriate category of work by MassDOT. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Highway - Bike Paths or Highway - Sidewalk & Curbing, for the project with an estimated value of $234,497.25 will be required.
